CONCEPT
The architectural proposal took into account a double celebration:
Firstly, the 90 years of BNU in Macau as well as their confidence in the future and in modernisation.
Secondly, its privileged location within the city, as well as the stupendous site, to which the conservation of the old facade – filled with memories of the past – provides a temporal dimension that was dramatically asserted.

The past and the future are thus articulated, in the very matter and form of the architecture, overlapping in time and space in a volume composition which translates the urban stance of the site at the corner of the block in curves that soften the form and open onto the Senado Square.
